Welcome to the Ink and Paint Folk podcast- a look at animation through the women and non-binary folk who make it!
Hosted by Cassie Soliday.
This week is all about the filmmakers behind the film, Titina.
Today’s guest is art director and production designer, Emma McCann!
Based on the thrilling story of polar explorer Roald Amundson and Italian engineer Umberto Nobile, Titina tells a true-ish story of glory and defeat, seen through the eyes of the street dog that became the world’s first four-legged celebrity who traveled to the North Pole in a Zepplin.
The film is hand-drawn in 2D, interspersed with real-life footage, and produced in Norway and Belgium.
