Welcome to the Ink and Paint Girls podcast- a look at animation through the women who make it!
Hosted by Cassie Soliday.
---
This week is all about the animators of the inspiring documentary about rapper/producer/Ph.D. candidate Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo, also known as Sammus, which is currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo! With 12 minutes of hand-drawn animation, I just had to have these animators on the show.
Today's guest is animator, Leah Coleman!
Leah discusses the animation process for the documentary, how she balances grad school with working on it, and how she tries to not compare her timeline with anyone else’s. Afterall, she runs on Leah-time.

If you’re like me, you’re gonna wanna bust out the travel palette and go paint some New Mexico sunsets after listening to the passions and thoughts of today’s guest, Chloe Bristol.
