Hosted by Cassie Soliday.

Today's guest is background painter and visual development artist, Audrey Gonzalez.
“Be prepared. Be genuine.”
These words are my favorite take away from speaking with Audrey, and I can’t wait for you to take a listen! We discuss being in the right place and right time and how it really doesn’t matter if you’re not prepared for that opportunity. She shares the research process that goes into working on an animated series inspired by latin cultures, how she came up with personal rates for freelance opportunities, and how she’s used social media to connect to a community when she wasn't near one. Audrey started the portfolio day hashtag on Twitter and Instagram where she promotes artists who are ready for opportunity and looking for work! She’s genuine and lovely and I can’t wait for you to meet her.
A wonderful interview to get you pumped for 2020.
