This week is all about the animators of the inspiring documentary about rapper/producer/Ph.D. candidate Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo, also known as Sammus, which is currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo! With 12 minutes of hand-drawn animation, I just had to have these animators on the show.
Today's guest is Brooklyn Lee, animator and character designer!
Brooklyn discusses how she made a sketchbook her safe haven to be herself and explore her feelings, how she left retail to find a day job that allowed her mind space to create, and how she creates with her little sister in mind!
