Welcome to the Ink and Paint Girls podcast where we celebrate women working in animation and explore representation behind the scenes and on the screen.
If you’re like me, you’re gonna wanna bust out the travel palette and go paint some New Mexico sunsets after listening to the passions and thoughts of today’s guest, Chloe Bristol. Visual Development Artist who has worked in TV and Feature animation at places like Disney, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Duncan, as well as the kids book series “Winter House”. I can’t forget to mention she worked on the animated sequence in the new Mary Poppins Returns! If you have’t seen it yet, you’ll have to check it out! A life-time fan of design who dreams of Georgia O’Keefe, Frida Kahlo, and Southwest landscapes, Chloe shares how much pure and uncontrollable chance can play in your career, the benefits of knowing your habits and patterns, and how to play to those instead of forcing yourself into a mold.
