Welcome to the Ink and Paint Girls podcast where we celebrate women working in animation and explore representation behind the scenes and on the screen.
The "Parenting in Animation" series will be sporadic interviews with parents working in Animation, deep dives into topics as they relate to the industry, as well as Q&As from YOU, our listeners.
We want to have a loving home life with kids, and not worry that our careers will suffer because of it. Let's explore the subject together!
Hosted by Katya Bowser and Cassie Soliday.

The Animation Guild, also known as Local 839 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) is a labor organization that represents animation artists. They are an advocate for guild members and mediate disputes between employees and employers as well as offer pension and health benefits that you can carry across multiple union studios without interruption.
Kristin Donner and Kyle Neswald join us today, representing The Animation Guild’s Family Leave Sub-Committee to share their research and discoveries as the negotiations with the studios approach.
