Visual development artist, Joyce Lee got her start as an intern for Disney Feature Animation and Laika House, she’s gone on to design for shows like Miles from Tomorrowland, Puppy Dog Pals, and Star vs The Forces of Evil. We discuss the nuances of visual development, the lack of diversity in higher artistic roles, and the lack of relatable female characters in the media while pondering if a female director could be a solution.
