Welcome to the Ink and Paint Folk podcast- a look at animation through the women and non-binary folk who make it!
Hosted by Cassie Soliday
Today's guest is Storyboard Artist, Michelle Rincon Eloren!
Michelle got her start as a production assistant on "Let’s Go Luna"! But it this isn’t your usual PA gig because she also did storyboard revision work. That’s right, it was a hybrid position- both artistic and production oriented! She’s also a charter member of LatinX in Animation (LXiA) which represents a diverse group within the Animation, VFX, and Gaming industries dedicated to uniting a talented pool of innovators with a heart to create exceptional stories across multiple platforms.
In this interview, She shares how she finally broke into animation after years of trying, what it was like working in production and storyboard, how she got promoted, and so much more.
